The basics
What is Careers?
A web app for the person looking for work. It searches freelance, permanent and remote job boards in one go, scores each posting against your profile, tailors a CV and letter to the posting from your own facts, and drafts the application e-mail, which waits for your approval. It is an app of Geenius OS and also works on its own.
Is Careers ready to use?
It is in early access: invite-only, with payments in test mode. The parts described on this site are built and in the app. We let people in a few at a time, so request access and we write when your place is ready.
Who is it for?
Freelancers and job seekers in Europe, with freelance projects in the Netherlands and Germany first. It also covers permanent roles in Germany and remote roles. See the use cases.
Do I need Geenius OS?
No. Careers is a standalone app with its own account and plans. A paid Geenius OS plan includes the matching Careers plan, and you sign in with the same account.
Is there a side for employers?
No. Careers is for the person looking for work. An employer side exists in the code but is switched off and hidden.
Search and scoring
Which boards and countries?
Twelve boards: Freelance.nl, freelancermap and GULP for freelance projects in the Netherlands and Germany; Bundesagentur für Arbeit, GermanTechJobs and Arbeitnow for permanent roles in Germany; and Himalayas, RemoteOK, Remotive, We Work Remotely, Jobicy and the Hacker News Who is hiring thread for remote work.
What about LinkedIn, Upwork and Malt?
They have no public data, so Careers does not scrape them. It gives you ready-made searches for them and a paste box to bring a posting in. An AI agent with a browser can import what it read.
What does the score mean?
How well the posting fits your profile, with the reasons: the requirements you cover and where your evidence is, and the ones that are missing. Missing stays missing and is never added to your CV.
What if a posting is in Dutch?
A posting that asks for Dutch is not shown unless Dutch is one of your working languages. A posting only written in Dutch that never asks for Dutch is kept and tagged.
Is there a daily digest?
Yes. Opt in under Jobs, pick the boards, languages and a rate floor, and choose an hour in your time zone. You get the strong new matches, and can have them saved to your pipeline.
Profile and CVs
What is the master profile?
Your facts, once: skills with aliases and evidence, roles with engagements, projects, education, languages, and rules per country. Every tailored CV selects from it. You can import your existing CV to start.
Will it invent experience to fit a posting?
No. A tailored CV is drawn only from your master profile, every bullet keeps the id of its source, and a check refuses or repairs any line, number or skill that has no source. When a posting asks for something you cannot evidence, Careers lists it as missing and leaves it off.
Does the check cover letters and e-mails?
Yes. A letter or an e-mail draft is checked sentence by sentence: numbers, years of experience, skills, employers, titles, credentials, achievements, languages, contact data and the signature must trace to your profile or the posting. A failure refuses the save, the draft or the approval and names each sentence.
What is tailored for a posting?
The order and selection of your lines, three to five key qualifications chosen for the posting, and the letter. The content is stored once; any design, length and density draws it.
How many designs are there?
More than ten, each in one page, two pages or multi-page, and concise, standard or full density. You can download PDF and DOCX and compare with your original CV.
Can it write German CVs and letters?
Yes, from your own German lines. A German posting gets a German CV and letter. Lines you have not translated stay in the base language, and the page says how many. A letter is never machine-translated.
Is there a design for ATS systems?
Yes, a plain ATS design for systems that read CVs automatically.
Applying
Does it send applications on its own?
Never. Every e-mail waits in the outbox until you approve that exact message. AI assistants connected through Geenius OS can create drafts and ask for approval but have no send or approve action.
How are e-mails sent?
With your own Resend account from your own domain. You add your key and check your domain in Mail settings. Careers never sends applications with a key of ours: without your key an approval is refused.
When does an approved e-mail go out?
After a random delay (7 to 25 minutes by default), moved into Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 18:00 in the recipient's time zone, and at most the daily limit (10 by default). You can cancel while it is scheduled.
What happens to replies?
You create a Careers address in Mail settings and forward replies to it, for example with a Gmail filter. Replies are matched to their thread and application.
How does interview rehearsal work?
One question at a time, drawn from the posting's own words, with each answer marked against a published rubric. It runs on a rubric and needs no model. It is part of Premium and Max.
Your AI
Where is the AI?
Yours. Careers has no built-in AI in early access. Connect Claude, ChatGPT or Grok to Geenius OS and it can help through Careers. The search, scoring, CV engine and rubric work without any AI.
How do I connect my AI?
Careers must be added to your Geenius OS workspace. Then add the Geenius OS connector in your AI and sign in. The steps are in Use with your AI.
Can my AI send e-mails?
No. The door has no send or approve action and refuses them by name. Your AI can leave a draft in your outbox and ask for approval.
Pricing and plans
What does it cost?
Pro is €9 a month, Premium €19, Max €49. Payments are in test mode during early access. A Geenius OS plan includes the matching Careers plan. See pricing.
Is there a free plan or a trial?
No free plan and no trial period. We can give people we invite a promo key for a 7, 14 or 30 day trial.
What are the limits?
Pro: 30 tailored CVs a month and 25 CV documents. Premium: 60 and 50. Max: no counts. Search, digests and the outbox are on every plan; interview rehearsal is on Premium and Max. A tailored CV is counted once per posting, when it is first tailored; editing a version is the same CV.
Privacy and your data
What do you do with my profile and CVs?
Your master profile, CVs, letters, saved jobs, applications and mail drafts are stored for you and used to run Careers. Careers has no built-in AI, so your texts reach a model only if you connect your own AI. The privacy statement is a draft until a lawyer has reviewed it.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. The app has a data export and an account deletion that also erases your CVs, applications, mail and jobs, after a two-week grace period.
